GZDOC 2020 International Pitching Session is Calling for Projects - Entry before Sept. 20, 2020

2020 will be an unforgettable year in the human history. The devastating pandemic hurts and kills millions of people, flooding the world with griefs and pains. Facing the deadliest disease, the world also show courage and love, helping us heal from the trauma. More than any time do we realize we have more commonalities than divergences and differences. More than any time do we understand the world needs to fight for a better future as one. As documentarians, we fight with our camera.We record the history and share the memories with our audiences.  


GZDOC is now recruiting projects. If you have great stories or creative ideas, please share with us. Your pitches can be Science, Wild Life and Natural History, Culture and Arts, Human Interest, History and Society, or Special Focus about the COVID-19. You are also encouraged to engage with the China stories from your very own perspectives. 


Outstanding projects will be selected and invited to present during the festival from December 14th to 17th. You will meet with Chinese and International investors and decision makers from TV networks, production companies and new media platforms, as well as key players from around the world.


This year, there are 3 segments of the pitching sessions, the iconic ‘China Stories’ International Pitching Session, GZDOC International Pitching Session designed for international projects cover wider global topics, and 2020 Special Focus Pitch – World Amid Coronavirus Outbreak.
