Urban management theme documentary City Dream premiered in Wuhan

Weijun Chen is a Chinese multi-award winning director. Just to name a few of his famous works around China and the world: To Live is Better Than to Die (2003), Please Vote for Me (2007) and This is Life (2017). On August 11, his latest and also his last work, a urban management themed documentary City Dream premiered in Wuhan, the location where the film was shot.  

According to the producer Nianwen Dai, this documentary of a highly controversial issue in China took 6 years to complete. The production team followed the urban management officers, as well as the protagonist, Wang's family. The two sides of the story were presented to the audience, in an objective and neutral way. By telling the story of urban management officers and small retailers, audiences will be able to understand more about Wuhan city and those who lived here.
