"Surprise your friends with an extreme selfie! See for yourself what armed conflicts look like”. This is the way travel agencies advertise their tours to such places Afghanistan or Iraq. Tourists, equipped with binoculars and video cameras, travel the world in search of ever-stronger sensations. War tourism emerged in the United States twenty years ago when War Zone Tours was set up. A large demand for this type of holiday resulted in a number of similar companies in Europe. The number of war tourists increases by 100% every year. War Watchers is the “observation movie”. This is multi-threaded travel to the world of war where different perspectives on the same reality meet. Is the creative documentary, author's tale about the limits of human curiosity, the story of modern Europeans who want to experience war but in a safe way.
