Chouwa Liang is a Beijing-based documentary filmmaker. She received her Master of Fine Arts in Film and TV (Documentary) from Victorian College of the Arts, University of Melbourne. She is also one of the curators of The Principle of Hope in the Beijing Inside-Out Art Museum. Since 2018, she directed several independent short documentaries including INTIMATE STRANGERS (2019), I LOVE YOU TOO (2019), A WORLD AWAY (2018), and MY AI LOVER (2022). Her films mainly focus on exploring Chinese contemporary intimate relationships from a female perspective.
Andy Huang is a Brisbane-based creative producer. He came from a solid film production training background and obtained his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Film and TV at Queensland University of Technology (QUT), and his master's degree in Screen Producing at the VCA Film and Television school of The University of Melbourne. In 2019, he joined Grandshow Productions as its Artistic Director, a local production company with a special focus on writing and producing documentaries and other non-fiction content. His strength ranges from creative development and scriptwriting in non-fiction content. In 2022, Andy returned to Queensland and co-founded Axel Rise Films focusing on diverse storytelling and regional communities.
